Dorothy Mayhall (1925-1995)
Mayhall was an American artist and museum director, having a solo exhibit at the Sachs Gallery in New York in 1972. She was the first director of the Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art in Ridgefield, CT in the mid-1960s. She was also the director of the Storm Kind Art Center and director of art at the Stamford Museum and Nature Center in Stamford, CT.
